On December 7, 2009, BSI certified MERIT's Quality System to the ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard for quality.

Merit has had a longtime commitment to Quality Management Systems since obtaining its initial registration to ISO 9002:1994 and QS 9000:1995 in December of 1996.
